RETURNING SUMMER 2022
And when we do, our 5th summer will include both instructional and collaborative activities designed to enrich students' hands-on musical skills and creativity.
A weekly theme will serve to contextualize and create a unifying thread for multiple artistic disciplines to be explored.
Our Summer 2022 theme and some examples of our activities are:
ANIMALS, ANIMALS, ANIMALS!
(6-9 age group)
The Animals Theme will be a springboard for exploration. Students will learn the fundamentals - emphasis on the fun! - of music notation, rhythm, and composing as well as gaining hands on experience with percussion, recorder and piano. Additional activities will include painting and a stop-motion movie.
